RCS' Free Parent Training Series - Nutrition Workshop

Nutrition Workshop: Tips to Improve Family Eating Habits
Wednesday, September 25, 2013 * 9:30am – 11:30am
Trainer: Beth Allison, RD, MS, LDN

The purpose of this training is to provide nutrition instruction to help improve families eating habits and overall nutrition profile. This workshop will be fun, informative and interactive and will include handouts, recipes and food samples. Topics will include:
• Learning the basics about why we need to eat carbohydrates, protein and fat and the best sources.
• Strategies to improve your child’s picky eating habits & creative ways to incorporate nutritious foods.
• Learning alternatives to peanut butter and other allergy type foods.
• Setting realistic goals that can improve overall nutrition for the whole family.

About the Trainer: Beth Allison RD, MS, LDN is the owner of a nutrition consulting company. She received her Master’s degree in Nutrition from Framingham State University and has an extensive history of helping children and adults with nutrition, weight loss, and exercise.
