"The Resilient Child (Preschool & Up)" A TECPA Program Presented by Christine Fortune Guthery, President, SPARK Kindness & Co - Founder, Natick Anti - Bullying Coalition (ABC)

The Resilient Child (Preschool & Up):  How to Teach, Parent and Coach Children to Thrive

Every child and family experiences some stress and challenge. This program will discuss how we can support children (and one another) to be able to thrive in spite of life’s challenges. The program will address:
  • Recent research on the power of a positive mindset, which can develop from the youngest ages
  • Specific tips on how to cultivate resiliency in children
  • How to teach and parent from a strengths-based perspective
  • Resources in you school, home and community that can help support resiliency

The Early Childhood Professional Association (TECPA)'s
Professional Development Programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of early childhood and elementary educators, afterschool professionals, program administrators, and family childcare providers.

TECPA events include a light dinner at 6:00 pm with program running from 6:30-8:30. Cost per person is $25.00. To register, please complete the online registration.
