Natick Martial Artist Asks for Support for Alabama Martial Arts Build-Vention

The goal is to raise $3K for the construction of the new dojo.

The following can be found on GoFundMe.com.

Celebrating a decade of martial arts volunteerism in Greensboro, Sensei Paul Castagno and his students will again converge upon The Catfish Capital of Alabama with other martial artists from around the country; this year to renovate a loft on Main Street into a dojo and build a house for Ms. Latonia Williams.

The Dojo will be used as a space to teach underprivileged children martial arts. There are not a lot of options or resources for activities for children in the area. Now we will have the opportunity to use the power of the martial arts to make a positive impact on the lives of children who would otherwise never have this kind of option.

Ms. Lotania Willams Is a cancer survivor that has been without a suitable living environment for a long time. We feel honored to be able to be part of the crew to give her a modest, but comfortable place to call home.

All money raised is donated directly to the Hale Empowerment & Revitalization Organization Inc (http://www.herohousing.org/and will be used exclusively for the projects we will be working on while we are there.
