Natick High Students Honored by Massachusetts Superintendents

Anna Meyer and Ryan Ward also named Students of the Week.

Natick High School seniors Anna Meyer and Ryan Ward recently received the annual Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Award.

For this achievement, they were named Students of the Week on Oct. 25.

Natick Public Schools Superintendent Peter Sanchioni presented the two awards during the Oct. 21 School Committee meeting. The award is designed for students who have achieved academic excellence throughout their high school careers.

Anna has maintained a high honor roll status for every term. Her senior course selection includes an Independent Study in French 60 as well as two AP social studies courses. Anna is a member of the Speech & Debate Team, chairperson for Freshman Model UN, secretary of the French Club, and a recipient of the Yale Book Award. 

Ryan has received straight A's during his high school career. In addition to his focus on a rigorous course of study, he has been selected as an AP Scholar with Honor and is a recipient of the Harvard Book Award. This year, Ryan is the tennis team captain, president of both the French Club and Speech Team, and a member of National Honor Society.
