Addressing Substance Abuse in Our Community - Sunday, March 16th

The Natick community is coming together to address the substance abuse issue currently plaguing our town. On Sunday, March 16th, town leaders, representatives from Natick Together for Youth and the Natick Clergy Association will hold a forum and vigil starting at 5pm at the First Congregational Church of Natick, located at the intersection of routes 27 and 135.

Event speakers include Catherine Sugarman, Executive Director of Natick Together for Youth, Natick Police Chief James Hicks, Representative David Linsky and others. Topics will include treatment services available locally and what actions can be taken to stop the flow of these dangerous drugs into our community. Information on networking, training and follow-up events will also be available. After the forum, attendees will proceed from the church to encircle the Town Common in a candlelight vigil as a call to action to the community.  We invite everyone to come out and support this important event.
