Westborough — Carol A. Lynch, 83, of Westborough, formerly of Worcester and Cotuit, died on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late James A. Lynch. 
Lynch was employed as a Registered Nurse at Worcester City Hospital for many years, retiring in 1980. Following her retirement she volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul Society in Cotuit. 

Northborough — Richard E. Perron, 89, died peacefully at home from cancer on July 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
He retired from the former Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation in Boston and went on to serve veterans for over 27 years in the towns of Northborough, Shrewsbury and Grafton as Veteran’s Agent helping countless veterans in obtaining needed financial assistance as well as employment, housing, and counseling.
Mr. Perron honorably served his country during World War II as a Quartermaster in the United States Navy and saw action in every major theater of war including the Invasion of Sicily in 1943, D-Day in 1944, and the Battle of Okinawa in 1945. He also served six years as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a former Commander of American Legion Post #234 of Northborough.

Grafton —  Edward C. Faford, Sr., 68, passed away July 18, 2013 at Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence in Worcester following an illness.
Ed ran his own carpentry business for many years, and he was also a maintenance mechanic at Coz Chemical in Northbridge and worked at Noremac Manufacturing in Westboro.

Shrewsbury — Cathy Lee (Brunelle) Atteridge, 59, of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Sunday, July 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, at the Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She graduated from Westborough High School. Cathy worked for several years for the former Data General Corp, and then spent 27 years working for Sprague Electric/Allegro Microsystems in Worcester, where she was a tactical marketing representative.

Natick — Mary A. (Cooke) Farrell, age 96, a former longtime Needham, resident, died at the home she shared with her brother in Natick on Thursday, July 18, 2013
Mary was a retired executive secretary and director of personnel with the AAA Insurance Company of Chestnut Hill. She was very much a kind and generous lady who enjoyed the company of any number of her large family. Mary also liked to travel far and wide with her brother Jim.    

Marlborough — Pamela C. (Forance) Jaworek, 56, of Marlborough died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at home
Pam co-owned The Diner on Lincoln Street with her husband for the last 11 years. She previously worked at Star Market in Marlborough and operated a home daycare for many years.

Northborough — Florian Francis Menninger, Jr., PhD, 75, of Northborough, MA, died suddenly, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 with his family by his side
Due to the fact Florian was a Type 1 diabetic for almost 50 years, he was passionate about helping others understand the disease. He created the Northborough Senior Center Diabetic Support Group which became quite a success and was active with many other support groups throughout Massachusetts.


Marlborough — Gloria (Guay) Lowe, 80, of Marlborough, MA, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at Reservoir Center, Marlborough. Daughter of the late Aristide and Mabel (Beauchamp) Guay. 
An active member of the former St. Mary's Parish, Marlborough, she served as an officer for Our Lady of the Assumption Guild, sang in the choir and volunteered at the parish bingo. Gloria was fun loving and enjoyed her home on Cape Cod, a friendly card game, a quick joke and the company of her family and good friends.
