Obituaries: Thomas Lovezzola, Paul Ghetti
A Natick native, and an Italian immigrant, both men shared a love of cars and craftmanship.
Thomas Lovezzola, 68, of Pooler, GA, died on Tuesday, January 8. Born and raised in Natick, he pursued his love of cars into a lifelong career. He started out at Bernie’s Auto Body in Natick and then was employed at Regan & Stapleton in Wellesley for many years. He also restored antique cars as a hobby.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Lisa Lovezzola of Maynard, Michele Provencal of Douglas, and Krista Lovezzola of Hopedale, as well as 2 grandchildren. His funeral will be at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, January 18, at 9 a.m. to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church at 10 a.m . Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 17, from 6-8 p.m.
Paul Ghetti, 78, died January 11. Born in Senigallia Italy, he was a resident of Natick for 60 years. He was the owner of Ghetti Carburetor and Electric of Framingham for 30 years until retiring in 1994. He was a talented craftsman who built his own boat. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and was an enthusiastic golfer.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth A. (Carr) Ghetti, a daughter Cynthia of Natick, 2 sons, Ronald of Hyannis and Vincent of Bridgewater, and 8 grandchildren. His funeral services are private, with arrangements by the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home.
