Vito Loffa Dies at 94

He immigrated from Italy in 1992.

Vito Loffa,  94, a resident of Natick for the past 20 years, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday evening, Oct. 30. He was the loving husband of the late Guissepina (Salicandro) Loffa.

Born, raised and educated in Carife, Avellino, Italy, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Arcangela (Festina) Loffa. Vito worked throughout his life on his family’s farm and raised his own family there. He immigrated to Natick to live with his son after Guissepina’s death in 1992. Vito has been a much-loved member of his son’s family and particularly enjoyed joining them on vacations in Falmouth and on trips to Boston.

He is survived by his son, Tony and his wife Mina; two granddaughters, Liz Jurasek and her husband Scott of Hopkinton, and Pina Butler and her husband Danny of Milford; and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emily, Brady, and Joseph.

His funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 2nd at 8 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Linus’ Church at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery.
