Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center Achieves Tier III in AHCA/NCAL Quality Initiative Recognition Program

NATICK, Ma., (March 31, 2014) – Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a certificate of achievement in recognition of their attainment of Tier III in the Quality Initiative Recognition Program, presented by the American Healthcare Association/National Center for Assisted Living, AHCA/NCAL. This award recognizes Mary Ann Morse for their commitment to improving the lives of the residents they serve.

The Quality Initiative Recognition Program was created to recognize AHCA nursing center members that demonstrate the attainment of one or more of the four AHCA Quality Initiative goals: safely reduce hospital readmissions by 15%, increase staff stability by 15% , increase customer satisfaction to 90% and safely reduce the off-label use of antipsychotics by 15%. The recognition of achievers is a multi-tiered approach, (Tiers I-IV), where member centers increase their recognition as they accomplish multiple Quality Initiative goals.

“We are honored to achieve Tier III recognition from AHCA/NCAL. Mary Ann Morse is one of only 516 nursing care facilities to make the top two tiers in the country. I’d like to thank our fabulous staff for their hard work and commitment to quality,” said Lisa Kubiak, Executive Director of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center.
