GREAT TEAMWORK at West Hill Park

Hi Friends, Just have to share w/ you an amazing team effort yesterday (11/23) at West Hill Park (Natick Housing Authority).  Several veteran LCWC - BHLF Trail buddies, including Doug Milch (NHS Teacher and Earth Club Advisor) and his daughter, Molly, Shaninza - from the Natick HS Earth Club, Bob Severance, Jon Treon, Meredith DeMola (our Big Heart Little Feet Support Group Coordinator), Ed and May Arthur, Bob and Evan Arenburg from McAulliffe Regional Charter School, Carol Virshbo, my dear neighbor, plus NHA Maintenance Supervisor, Jeff Harmon, and about 10 residents of the W Hill Park Complex pitched in and made tremendous progress on a huge mountain of leaves that had accumulated around the residences.  This represented our (BHLF's) second annual endeavor in this area; and we hope to sustain it in future years.  Please stretch that Pantheon of Natick Champions to include these volunteers.     I'd also like to thank my dear friend at Dunkin Donuts Corporate, Nick Jenkins, who has provided roughly $1500 of contributions (Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Donuts, Bagels) to the Big Heart Little Feet projects over the past 3 years.  Amazing generosity.   Plus I plan to raise the necessary funds to replace the broken basketball hoop.  All I need is about $1300.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  --Pat
