Recycling at the Framingham Parks

Hi Friends of Framingham Parks,  The Park Dept does an outstanding job of mowing, grooming, lining the fields and parks.  Just trying to encourage them to recycle.  No need to throw all this recyclable stuff into the large green trash barrels.  Only a handful of recycling toters at Merloni and Bowditch.  Don't understand the strategy because there are several other parks that are quite busy: (Winch - FHS, Butterworth and Mary Dennison, to name just a few w/ which I'm familiar).  It may be that the Town doesn't want to acknowledge / accept / deal with the immense amount of beer drinking going on at the Parks and Ballfields.  Picked up an a lot of of beer bottles and cans at Winch - FHS, mostly in the trash cans.  I pulled them out and recycled them.  Although a challenging issue, we have similar problems in Natick.  Some of the men's softball leagues are knocking them back pretty heavily too.    --Pat
