Sudbury River (a healing)
Wonderful team effort yesterday (9/21) from parents and students at McAulliffe Reg Charter School, Bill Fadden, Katrina Scheiner, Julia Khorana, Alison Juma-Fields and many others. We gathered about 40 tires (and other trash -- lawnmower, bicycle, etc.) from a stretch of river extending from the bend at the levy south of Concord St. downstream to the Little Farms Road Landing (Saxonville area). Sad to think that not too long ago this was the accepted way to dispose of trash and tires. Many thanks to Dunkin Donuts (Nick), Home Depot - Natick (Marvin), and Walgreens - Natick (Sean), for your generous contributions and support. Very honored to be part of it. Get out this fall and explore The Sudbury, one of the most exquisite rivers in all of the Eastern United States. You won't regret it and you'll forever be an advocate of these glorious rivers. --Pat
