Trash-Free Natick in 2014: The First Community in Massachusetts

Quick Update:
• Very little trash or pet waste at the Oak St. Trailhead to Natick Town Forest.  Refilled the mutt-mitt bag.
One of my terrific volunteers, Jane Detweiler, sent me a couple of photos of the Coolidge Hill Summit (gorgeous) which had very little trash.  She emptied the summit barrel.
Two additional and wonderful volunteers, Rich and Mary Whalen, had shoveled out the School St. and Jefferson St. BHLF Trash / Recycle units.  I emptied them down this morning.
• I was able to empty the Windsor Ave., Donahue Boat Landing, and Pond - Fiske Ln units later in the day.  Very little trash around them.
I still need help with the Rte 135, W. Natick Train Station, Campus Dr., Mill St., Boden Lane, and Pond St units if anyone wants to join in the crusade.  Thanks, Pat
