Natick Reads: Neil Gaiman

Events kick off Saturday.

For 2014, Natick Reads, the community-wide read program sponsored by the Morse Institute Library, will enjoy the books of Neil Gaiman.

Gaiman is a contemporary writer who started out as a journalist in the 1980s and later, wrote biographies about Duran Duran and Douglas Adams. Later, he ventured into fiction often admired by fans of fantasy and science fiction, including picture books and horror stories with gothic themes.

This year, Natick Reads events begin on Saturday, March 1, with a day of fun including a chance to create your own fantasy picture book at 2 p.m. in the community room, interactive graveyard photo fun in the lower level lobby area, and a showing of a movie about a girl from a Neil Gaiman book at 2:30 p.m.
