12 Accidents, Missing Child Reported in Natick During Day 1 of Storm

Fire Department battled numerous fires in Natick.

The Natick Police Department had an active day Thursday during the first day of the year's first major snowstorm.

Overall, officers responded to 12 accidents in various parts of town, including one that resulted in a drug arrest.

According to Lt. Brian Grassey, none of the accidents involved people needing medical transportation.

At 5:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to a Winter Street home for a report of a missing child.

Grassey said the child was found.

The Natick Fire Department also answered numerous calls to fires reported in town.

Structural fires were reported at the Walnut Hill School on Highland Street, Zyno Medical on Pine Street, Sherwood Village Apartments on Mill Street, a home on 4 Village Way and EZ Mini Storage on Speen Street.
