Arrests: Sex Offender Fails to Register, Man Trespasses at Library

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Oct. 22

8:58 a.m.: Police pulled over a vehicle on Speen Street. Thomas A. Michaud, 24, of 12 Meadowbrook Rd., Sherborn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, having no inspection sticker, and a motor vehicle lights violation.

9:10 a.m.: Police responded to a domestic on Cedar Street. William R. Martel, 37, of 5 Cedar St., Natick, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a 60+/diabled person with injury, a warrant for breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and possession of burglarious tools, and attempted murder. Police said the victim was OK, and that Martel and the victim were known to each other.

2:05 p.m.: Police served a warrant at MetroWest Medical Center. Todd McCabe, 37, of 10 Henry Ter., Apt. 5, Worcester, was arrested and charged on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

2:13 p.m.: Police pulled over a vehicle on Worcester Street and New Hampshire Avenue. Heidi M. Oliveri, 49, of 35 Clyde St., Needham, was arrested on a warrant for four counts of check larceny.

4:25 p.m.: A caller from the Morse Institute Library reported there was an individual there who had a no trespass order. Brian M. Loflin, 62, of 18 Lakeview Gardens, Apt. 807, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
