Brockton Woman Faces Shoplifting Charge in Natick

The following arrest information was supplied by the Natick Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A call to the Natick Police Department on Saturday regarding a possible shoplifter resulted in the arrest of a Brockton woman.

According to the Natick police log, the call came in just before 4 p.m. from J.C. Penney on Worcester Street.

After responding officers arrived and completed an investigation, Erica Barbosa Fortes, 21, of 32 Marland Ave., Apt. 3, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 by single scheme.

The police report stated she had $524 in merchandise.

Fortes was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Monday.
