Natick Police Department Adds Reserve Officers

Former graduates of Natick High were voted into the Natick Police Department reserves last night.

Four former graduates of Natick High School were appointed to the reserves of the Natick Police Department Monday evening by the town's Board of Selectmen.

While the new reserve officers will have no official duties within the department, they will be "under the tutilage" of Natick officers, and may be selected for a full time position when one arises, Police Chief James Hicks said during the meeting.

Kyle Bodreau graduated from Natick High School in 2004. "It's taken almost a decade for this to happen. I'm very excited for the opportunity," Bodreau said.
