Natick Police Release Sketch of Man Who Offered 2 Boys a Ride

A man in a green Ford Expedition is wanted in the case.

The Natick Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a man who allegedly offered a ride to two boys in town on Sept. 28.

According to Natick police, a young boy was walking home with a friend near 249 North Main St. at about 11:15 a.m. when they noticed an older model green Expedition traveling southbound and beeping the horn to get their attention

"The operator of the vehicle, hanging his head out the window, in a loud voice said “DO YOU WANT A RIDE,” Natick police said in a statement. "As the two juveniles separated the same green Expedition turned around to go northbound passing one of the young males as it continued on. There was no other contact with the witnesses."

The person of interest was described as a white male, approximately 45 to 48 years old, with a thin light brown, gray beard and thin mustache, wearing a well worn navy blue and white brim Red Sox hat. 

The vehicle is described as an older model green Ford Expedition with some rust in the rear left bumper.
