Natick UPS Store Employee Allegedly Steals Package

The Natick Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

A local man is in trouble with the law after allegedly stealing an iPad Mini.

Cody W. Mabie, 21, of Natick, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. on April 29, on a larceny over $250 charge.

According to a police statement, an officer was sent to the UPS Store of Natick on Worcester Street for a report of an employee allegedly stealing a package, causing a scene in the store, and then, fleeing the area.

Other officers began checking the area and a detail officer reportedly saw a person matching the description of the employee walking toward Wilson Middle School. Mabie was then arrested.

According to police, the package contained an iPad Mini and accessories valued at $407.
