Police Details Now to Include Cruiser Fee
The new fee will be charged when a detail requires a cruiser to signal of traffic issues.
At the Board of Selectmen meeting earlier this week police Chief James Hicks discussed the need to add an additional fee for police details that require a cruiser.
According to Boston.com Hicks said all of the cruisers the department has are on the road daily for regular patrols and an increase in details.
The $25 hourly fee that was imposed is expected to primarily impact utility and construction companies working around town.
