Update: Two Alarm Fire Put out on Worcester Street

A two alarm fire was put out on Worcester Street today.

Update: Only the owner apartment of the Travelodge was affected directly by the fire, according to fire officials at the scene.

No one was injured in the fire. No other units were directly affected by the fire, which involved the sauna area of the unit, although there was smoke damage to some adjacent units.

Original Story: The fire department put out a two alarm fire at 1350 Worcester Street shortly before noon today.

The address is listed as the Natick Travelodge. Scanner reports indicate a fire happened in the sauna on the first floor. Fire officials were still on scene shortly after the fire had been extinguished and no additional information was available.

Fire fighters from Framingham and Wellesley were called in to cover while NStar also went to the scene, according to scanner reports.
