A Framingham man, who was struck in the head by a boat propeller on July 4, has died.

Jefferson Nunes, 23, was boating on Lake Cochituate in Natick on July 4, when he fell out of a boat around 3:30 p.m. The boat's propeller hit his head.  According to investigators, he died later that night.

On July 4, Natick Patch reported the man was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, after suffering a serious head injury. The man was scheduled to be flown by helicopter to Boston, but those plans were scrapped because of how long it would take to get the helicopter to Natick.
