Tesla Decision Goes to Town Meeting

Whether the automaker Tesla will be able to sell cars in from the Natick Mall will be decided in October.

Sales of Tesla's luxury electric cars will fall to a 2/3 vote at town meeting in October, reports Boston.com.

The selectmen have voted to put a change to the town's bylaws to a vote at the Oct. 15 town meeting, according to Boston.com. The change, if approved, would allow for a limited salesroom for vehicles. There would be no more than four vehicles allowed on site with no repair services available.

Selectmen previously voted to allow sales of the electric store in the mall along with a temporary waiver of the bylaw that will be voted on in October.
