Natick High School Changes Day of Graduation

Commencement moved from Sundays to Fridays to help keep down costs due to inclement weather.

Natick High School has opted to change its graduation day from the traditional Sunday to Friday, the school announced on Dec. 10.

The change was made in part from a survey Natick Public Schools sent out to parents regarding possible changes to the calendar

The date for the 2014 graduation ceremony will be Friday, June 6, at 6 p.m. at Memorial Field. The rain date is Sunday, June 8 at noon, at the same location.

The change was made to reduce the possibility of increased costs if graduation were to be held indoors because of inclement weather.

  • Senior cruise at 4:30 p.m., June 3;
  • Class night at 7 p.m., June 4;
  • Senior picnic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 5.
