Natick High School has opted to change its graduation day from the traditional Sunday to Friday, the school announced on Dec. 10.
The change was made in part from a survey Natick Public Schools sent out to parents regarding possible changes to the calendar
The date for the 2014 graduation ceremony will be Friday, June 6, at 6 p.m. at Memorial Field. The rain date is Sunday, June 8 at noon, at the same location.
The change was made to reduce the possibility of increased costs if graduation were to be held indoors because of inclement weather.
Also announced was:
- Senior cruise at 4:30 p.m., June 3;
- Class night at 7 p.m., June 4;
- Senior picnic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., June 5.
