The Center for Arts in Natick Launches New Website

The new website was developed using feedback from patrons and members, and is designed to improve the user experience.

The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN) has launched a new and engaging user friendly website to improve the web experience for members and patrons. Website users now have improved access to purchasing tickets, enrolling in arts education, and navigating information about TCAN’s numerous community arts programs.

The new website launch is part of the nonprofit performing art center’s ongoing efforts to develop a stronger connection to patrons. TCAN has recently updated its logo and also redesigned its branding to better represent the arts programming it provides to the community. The sleek new design conveys the cultural impact of TCAN while also representing the high quality of production that the community has come to expect from TCAN.

Though the website has an exciting new look, the integrated images of the firehouse still make the site feel warm and familiar. Features of the website were added based on the feedback of members and patrons, including a live social media feed, a fully functional search box, and an interactive rotation of featured artists on the homepage. The site’s interface is also more intuitive thanks to a new navigation bar, providing users with more efficient access to TCAN’s community arts programs.

Elaine Hom, TCAN’s marketing coordinator, notes that the site was redesigned from the ground up, with TCAN’s patrons in mind. “Using beautiful images, video, innovative search features and integration with calendaring, email, and social media, the new website provides TCAN patrons multiple ways to form a deeper connection to our organization and programs,” says Hom. “We hope our members and patrons find exploring the site as enjoyable and immersive as a performance at TCAN.”

The website was developed in conjunction with Boston-based designers Communication via Design and funded in part by MetroWest Visitors Bureau and Bernardi Auto Group.
