Sadly, the Natick Girls Middle School Girls hockey team is no longer unbeaten;
suffering their first loss Saturday to a very strong and talented Medway squad. The girls left the ice with their heads high and eyes focused on Sunday...

Last night they faced off against Sudbury and from the first drop of the puck, Natick controlled the game.  Strong defense and backchecking created scoring opportunities while shutting down Sudbury completely.  It was a pleasure to watch the entire team come alive: communication, passing, hustle, and high-fives. 

Saturday's loss was a reset that allowed the girls to focus on the basics and made Sunday's victory much sweeter.  Thank you for the entertainment Ladies and thanks for the encouragement coaches Ihloff, Burnes, and Quirk.
