Natick Food Pantries Receive $6,500

The Foundation for MetroWest gave funding to A Place to Turn and the Vi Tutuny Food Pantry in Natick.

The and received $6,500 from the Foundation for MetroWest to help stock the shelves for area families in need.

A total of $55,000 was distributed to food pantries throughout the MetroWest from the English Family Fund and Herbert and Esther Atkinson Fund. 

“Food pantries and service organizations from around Massachusetts continue to face unprecedented challenges,” said the Foundation's executive director, Judith Salerno. “The MetroWest region is no different and we are proud that we have been able to support Natick food pantries as they work to fulfill the growing number of requests by families to help put a balanced meal on their tables.”

The Foundation for MetroWest has reportedly distributed  $6.5 million since it began in 1995.
