With today being Labor Day, all public schools are closed. That's not earth-shattering news.
But this week, the second week of the 2013-14 school year, is shorter than you may realize.
This week the Jewish community celebrates Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, on the evening of Sept. 4.
Natick Public Schools will be closed on Sept. 5-6, meaning students will be in class only on Sept. 3-4 this week.
