This office fields and mediates complaints for businesses located in Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts. Even if the business in question is not a member, the BBB will be happy to hear your grievance and try to resolve the issue. A call is all that is needed. You can also use this for-profit organization to check on the ratings of members and determine in advance if you want to do business with a particular company. There is no charge for these services.
