18 dogs were found in the home of a Braintree resident last month after the MSCPA received an anonymous tip.
A Natick couple, John and Lily Storm, has adopted the first of 13 purebread Shar Peis that MSPCA-Angell rescued from unsanitary conditions after raiding a Braintree home following an anonymous tip. Hundreds of people have contacted the agency seeking to adopt the dogs after the news of their misfortune became publicized last week. “Taco,” a 6-month old Shar Pei, has now been happily adopted, while the other 12 continue to recover at the MSPCA-Angell adoption center in Jamaica Plain. Taco was neutered after being rescued and also underwent eye surgery, spokesman Rob Halpin said in an email. Meet Gino! He is a 3.5-year-old male Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix...or at least that's what we think he is. Gino is friendly, quiet, and loving to everyone he meets. He weighs only 11 pounds and has hair instead of fur so although he doesn’t shed, he will need to be groomed. In new situations Gino can be somewhat nervous so he should go to a home that has no young children. He gets along well with other small dogs and cats. During the day, Gino spends his time with his foster parents. He does not like to be left along for long periods of time so his forever home should have someone there most of the day to take care of him. He would be a great dog to bring anywhere you need to go since he is crate-trained, good in the car, and walks …

Hi, my name is Winston! I am a Cane Corso Mastiff/Pit Bull mix but don't be put off by my breed, I LOVE to be around people. My previous owners never really paid attention to me and then eventually abandoned me. Although now I'm living in my new foster home with All Dog Rescue and I just love it. I have two dogs here that I can play with and I just love to follow around my human friends too. I get attached to people very easily and tend to become somewhat of a shadow. I am only about one year old so I do have a lot of energy and like to go for long walks and have extra play time to get that energy out.
