Cops Investigating Home Invasion on Howe Street

Police were looking for a black male wearing a maroon shirt and dark pants.

Update, 11:58 p.m. Saturday, July 21: Police concluded the search, with negative results.  Police have responded to the area around 149 Howe St., where a breaking and entering and assault were reported Saturday night. Police tweeted at 10:22 p.m. that officers were responding to the address for a breaking and entering and assault in a dwelling. A black male reportedly fled from the address on foot. He is described as 5 foot 10 inches, wearing a maroon shirt and dark pants. State police K9 units arrived at 11 p.m. The suspect reportedly cut a screen, entered the home, and assaulted the resident with a jewelry box while attempting to leave the house. This area of Natick, bordered by Hartford St and Rte.135 has been plagued by robberies of various types for several tears. Also, armed robberies of businesses in the area. The residents should form a crime watch group of some type. The police seem to be unable to control this crime spree.   more ›

Door Kicked in at Hess Station

Natick Police responded to a reported B&E at Hess at 207 Worcester St. early Monday morning.

  Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, Natick Police responded to a reported breaking and entering at the Hess gas station on 207 Worcester St. The door was kicked in and cigarettes were stolen, according to reports. There have been no arrests, police said, and area police departments have been notified, including Wellesley and Wayland. K9 units responded to the scene.
