Donate Blood in Remembrance of 9/11

The Natick Police Department and Natick Fire Department will hold a blood drive today from 2:30 to 7 p.m. in remembrance of those who were killed on Sept. 11, 2001.

This Sunday will mark the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the United States. In remembrance of those innocent people who lost their lives and to recognize the lives that were changed forever on that day, the Natick fire and police departments will host a blood drive today. From 2:30 to 7 p.m., volunteers can visit the Natick Town Hall's Board of Selectmen room on the second floor to donate blood as a part of the MetroWest Medical Center blood donor program. Each donor will receive a free gift and refreshments. To donate, contact Marylee Watkins by calling 508-647-9511 or e-mail watkins@natickpolice.com.
