Cement Truck Rollover on Mass Turnpike

Emergency services are on-scene.

A cement truck has rolled over at the Mass Pike Exit 13 interchange. EMS has transported one person to the hospital and the Department of Environmental Protection has been requested to respond for a fuel spill, according to scanner reports. Drivers are advised to use caution and avoid the area.

Entrapment After 3-Car Crash on Rte. 9

Traffic eastbound on Rte. 9 may be slow.

At least one motorist was trapped after a crash involving three cars on Rte. 9 Tuesday afternoon, according to initial scanner reports.  Police reported the crash on the eastbound side of Rte. 9 near Oak Street around 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday.  Stay tuned to Natick Patch for details as they become available.

Medflight Requested After Motorcycle Crash

Rescue helicopters were requested to assist in the rescue of an injured motorist.

After a motorcycle crash left a victim unconscious Monday afternoon, Natick rescue crews requested a Medflight helicopter to airlift the injured motorist, according to initial scanner reports. The helicopter landed at Boston Scientific to pick up the motorcycle driver who crashed at 251 W Central St. Stay tuned to Natick Patch for details as they become available.

Patch Answers: School Bus Fender Bender

A Natick school bus was involved in a minor accident, delaying student delivery.

One of our readers sent us an email Thursday asking for details on a crash involving a school bus that delayed her child's return home from school.  A school bus was involved in a minor accident with no students on board, Bill Hurley, an administrator of the Natick school system said.  After talking with the other driver, the bus proceeded to the school to pick up students for afternoon delivery. Officers Arrest Motorcycle Driver Traveling 130 MPH

The driver abandoned his motorcycle after "dumping" it on Route 27.

State police arrested a motorcycle driver Sunday night who was traveling down Route 126 at speeds in excess of 130 miles per hour, according to an unconfirmed scanner report.  The driver "dumped" his motorcycle at the Route 27 Stop and Shop and fled on foot after traveling down Rte. 9 at speeds estimated at more than 90 miles per hour. Police stopped the suspect soon after the incident, which happened at about 8 p.m. "Numerous troopers observed him as he passed them at high speeds, then he stopped at Route 27, dumped his bike and attempted to flee on foot," the report said.  There was "not much left of the bike," when it was abandoned, the report said.  Return to Natick Patch for more details as they become available.

Divers Rescue Woman After Crash in River

A woman was pulled from the Charles River after a car crash Thursday afternoon.

Natick Fire Department dive teams rescued a female driver who crashed into the Charles River on Thursday around 1:55 p.m while traveling down Eliot Street. The motorist was found conscious a "quarter mile down river," Deputy Fire Chief, Daniel Dow, said. Natick Police are investigating the cause of the crash.  Initial scanner reports said a male passenger had been in the car at the time of the crash. Motorcyclist Suffers Head, Back Injuries

Natick officials are responding to a motorcycle crash on Worcester Street.

A motorcycle driver received injuries to his head and back after a crash on Worcester Street Wednesday afternoon, according to initial scanner reports.  The driver is listed as being 46-years-old. Stay tuned to Natick Patch for details as they become available.

Driver Hospitalized After Late-Night Crash

The driver's injuries are serious but not life-threatening, Natick police report.

An individual suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries in a crash this morning on Cottage Street. The person’s vehicle was traveling south on the street when it hit a tree at 12:50 a.m., Sgt. Jack Doherty of the Natick Police Department said. The operator was transported to a Boston hospital, Doherty said. The crash remains under investigation, he said. No names were available.
