UPDATE: Town Hall, DPW Test New Hours
From July 5 to Sept. 2, Town Hall will test a new schedule, staying open late on Monday and closing early on Friday.
The board of selectmen voted Monday night to approve a trial period for new hours for Town Hall. From July 5 to Sept. 2, Town Hall, the Department of Public Works and potentially Recreation and Parks will remain open late on Mondays and close early on Fridays to conserve energy during hot summer months, boost employee morale and give those in town who work the opportunity to visit the offices, according to town administrator Martha White.
