Who's Running in the Natick Town Election?

Natick's annual town election is April 9 this year.

The Natick town election is quickly approaching, with just two weeks remaining until residents head to the polls to cast their vote. This year there are just two contested races: school committee and and Morse Institute Library trustee, but there are candidates for many other positions as well. There are also two questions on the ballot. Here are the offices that are on this year's ballot, as well as who is running for them: Board of Selectmen - For Three Years Vote For Not More Than Two Charles M. Hughes 10 Oxbow Rd. New Spring Election and Town Meeting Dates Announced

The dates were pushed back two weeks to avoid a conflict with Passover.

The Boston Globe has reported that the new dates for Town Meeting and the spring election have been announced. According to the Globe, the election will be on Tuesday, April 9. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Town Meeting will take place at Natick High School and will begin on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. The deadline to submit articles to the warrant to the Board of Selectmen is Friday, Feb. 22 at 5 p.m. Residents wishing to do this should submit them to the Selectmen's office at Town Hall. Nomination Papers for April Town Election Due January 22

The Annual Town Election will be on April 9, 2013.

  The following information was provided by Natick Town Clerk Diane Packer: The Board of Selectmen voted to move the Annual Town Election to Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Nomination papers are available for all Town wide offices for the 2013 annual Town election. This year Natick voters will elect the following officials: Nomination papers for town wide offices must be returned no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 with signatures from at least 25 registered voters. Nomination papers for Town Meeting members will also be available.  There are at a minimum six seats in each precinct and several precincts have additional vacancies.
