Locals have been gathering outside the Natick Mall Apple store throughout the day to purchase and catch a glimpse of the new Apple iPad that hit stores today. The latest version has a faster processor, a better, 5-megapixel camera and higher Retina display. The most basic model of the new iPad costs $499. The older iPad 2 is now available starting at $399.
