There aren't necessarily rules when it comes to figuring out what is open or closed on New Year's Day each year. Each and every business chooses to do what they think is in their best interest, or at the very least they decide to do what they would like to do. Natick Town Hall is closed today. The U.S. Postal Service is closed today. UPS and FedEx are also closed today. Natick Public Schools are closed today.
