VIDEO: Help Cops Identify Shoplifter Who Pushed Security Guard

The man allegedly stole some Ray-Bans yesterday.

Information and video courtesy of the Natick Police Department: The man in this video is wanted on charges of shoplifting greater than $100 and assault and battery.  The suspect was described as a 6-foot male wearing a grey t-shirt, dark jeans and grey sneakers. The suspect was observed in the store via CCTV as he took a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses valued at $129.00. The suspect then exits the store without making attempt to purchase the item. When detained outside the store he pushed security personnel and made good his escape. Natick Soldier Center Developments to Be Highlighted in Boston

Military research done in town will be showcased at an event at the State House Wednesday.

The Natick Army Soldier Systems Center, one of the prime military locations for researching and developing military tools, equipment and foods, will be highlighted in an event at the State House tomorrow. The event will feature some of the gear and equipment developed at the Natick Center, which for nearly 60 years, has been the site of some of the U.S. Army's most advanced research on soldier equipment. “The work that is done here and the people here are essential for our soldiers, to keep them safe and comfortable,” U.S. Secretary of the Army John McHugh told the Boston Globe. “I can’t imagine that ever going away. Two Arrested in Foiled Break-in

A Woodland Street homeowner reportedly caught two people trying to pry open a window Saturday.

Police arrested a Natick man and a Holliston woman Saturday in connection with an attempted break-in to a Woodland Street home. The following information was posted on the Natick Police Department's Facebook page: At 1:30 this afternoon a suspect was interrupted by a homeowner just after forcing a window at a home on Woodland Street. A description of the suspect and vehicle was provided to units as they responded. Detective Rick Halloran was working a paid detail downtown and the description caused him to suggest a residence for responders to check.  Officers Kelley, Hall, Murphy, Mabardy and Sgt.
