Woman Arrested with Stolen Merchandise from Four Stores

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Charges do not indicate convictions.

Wednesday, Feb. 20 9:38 p.m.: Macy's loss prevention notified the Natick Police Department that they had detained a shoplifter. Morghyn D. Croteau, 23, of 100 Leach Ave., Brockton was arrested and charged with the following: Thursday, Feb. 21 7:31 p.m.: J.C. Penney called Natick Police to report that a shoplifter had been detained. Naseem Bano Qadir, 50, of 261 Cochituate Rd., Wayland was arrested and charged with shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise ($190 in merchandise).

Shoplifting & OUI Arrests

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Charges do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 1:12 p.m.: The Natick Police Department responded to a report of shoplifting at Sears. Adelina Goncalves, 70, of 11 Wellington Ave., Framingham was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 ($308 in merchandise). 5:29 p.m.: A caller from Lord & Taylor reported that they had a shoplifter in custody. Jade Kara Chagnon, 24, who list the Pine St. Inn, Boston as her address, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 ($2,255 in merchandise) and possession of a class A drug. 7:38 p.m.: A caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Forest Ave. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested Cynthia Anne Ghetti, 52, of 50 Bennett St. She was charged with a second offense oui and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Shoplifting Arrests at Natick Nordstrom

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Those charged have not been convicted of any crimes.

Saturday, Feb. 2 2:12 p.m.: Nordstrom loss prevention called to report that they had a shoplifter in custody. Officers responded and arrested Rosemary S. Taverna, 35, of 27 Charles St., Watertown and charged her with larceny over $250 ($377 worth in merchandise). Sunday, Feb. 3 5:19 p.m.: Nordstrom loss prevention called to report that they had one shoplifter in custody. Oscar Maya, 30, of 534 W. 53rd St., Hialeah, FL was arrested and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise and forge or utter forge credit card.

Arrested for Possession of Lorazepam & Carisoprodol

Wednesday, Jan. 30 3:10 p.m.: Police went to serve a warrant in the vicinity of 17 Washington St. Christine Gore, 41, whose address is listed as homeless in Framingham was arrested on the following charges: 4:00 p.m.: Natick Mall security called the Natick Police to report that two females were seen shoplifting on video and were sitting inside a vehicle outside of Dress Barn. Police arrived and the two individuals were found with $930 in merchandise. Allie L. Cromwell, 37, of 215 Bishop Dr., Framingham and Shawna Ene, 35, of 14 Lakeview Ave., Lynn were both arrested and charged with conspiracy and larceny over $250. Domestic Assault Causes Motor Vehicle Accident

The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Those charged have not been convicted.

Friday, Jan. 25 8:00 a.m.: A caller reported a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Worcester St. and Oak St. Officers responded and found that the accident was allegedly caused by a domestic incident within the vehicle. George Dudley, 67, of 89 Bethany Rd., Framingham was arrested and charged with assault & battery. Saturday, Jan. 26 5:08 p.m.: The Natick Police Department was notified that loss prevention was detaining a shoplifter at Abercrombie & Fitch. Mario Jose Rodriguez Ayala, 26, of 34 Hoope St., Chelsea was arrested and charged with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise. Natick Arrests: Destroying/Defacing Property

Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2012 Macy's loss prevention called to report that they were attempting to apprehend three female shoplifters ($808.50). Officers responded and arrested and charged all three with larceny over $250 and conspiracy. Thursday, December 20 8:53 p.m.: The Northface store called to report a possible shoplifting in progress. This shoplifter is suspected of stealing nearly $1,000 worth of goods.

Update 7/11 12:33 p.m.: "Vigilant Loss Prevention officers in Burlington were able to identify this person and charges are presently being sought. Thank you Lord and Taylor Burlington for the help," the Natick Police Department Facebook page said. ---  Courtesy Natick Police Department. On July 9 store personnel reported to us that the pictured female was able to conceal several pairs of sunglasses and leave the store without payment. A complete inventory was to be conducted after the report was taken, but the value is believed to approach $1,000. Shoplifting Suspect Escapes Police After Chase

Police arrested a man who police say worked in tandem with a suspected shoplifter who fled from police Saturday.

A suspected shoplifter escaped from police after fleeing from the Natick Mall on Saturday, according to Lt. Brian Lauzon of the Natick Police Department.  Natick Police chased the suspect on foot to a Speen Street storage facility and soon called off the search as officers were unable to locate him. Daniel Francois was working in tandem with the escaped suspect, Lauzon said. Francois, 20, from Brockton, was arrested on Saturday and charged with larceny over $250 and was cited for marijuana possession.  Francois allegedly stole sunglasses from Gucci valued at $300 and shorts from True Religion valued at $165.  The escaped suspect is described as a young black male with short braided hair who was wearing cargo shorts and white sneakers at …
