What Street in Natick has the Biggest Speeding Problem?

There are a lot of people who have trouble obeying the speed limit, but which street in Natick do you think has the biggest problem with speeding?

On Friday we asked you what you would ban in Natick. Between the article on Natick Patch and our Facebook page, we heard a number of different ideas. But one stuck out as an issue that fell under a different category. Reader DGM commented about the amount of people who speed on his street everyday. Many people have trouble obeying the speed limit, but is there one particular area of Natick where people tend to speed most often? Is there one street in Natick where people often drive too fast? SOUND OFF: What's the Worst Speeding Spot in Natick?

It's not just speeding. That happens everywhere. What about all the people that ignore the yield sign when approaching route 9 on Oak Street never giving way to the oncoming traffic that is on the rotary. Let's face it, most people are obnoxious drivers and don't give a crap. Police need to clamp down and also stop the dude selling drugs on Gannett Road behind Autozone.   more ›

Police Log: Man Arrested Driving 101 MPH

The following information was obtained from the Natick Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Patch prints all arrests.

Monday, Jan. 9 9:56 p.m.: Natick Police stoped a motor vehicle in front of Fannon's Liquor Store that was driving at 101 mph, according to police. Timothy Jay Repella, 22, of 1 Brookdale Rd., Natick, was charged with OUI, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of a special regulation and failure to wear a seatbelt.
