Seize the Weekend in Natick

Don't miss the Hanukkah celebrations, Broadmoor Chamber Singers, fundraiser for Kids Connect and more in Natick this weekend.

There's plenty to keep yourself busy this weekend without even leaving town. Here are just a few of the things you may want to check out: 1. On Friday at 7 p.m., a free cocktail reception will raise donations for Kids Connect tutoring services for children. A door prize original black and white photograph by Gallery 55 owner John Mottren, valued at $250, will be given. The event is at Gallery 55 on Main Street in Natick. 2. The Broadmoor Chamber Singers will perform at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Morse Institute Library. 3. All are welcome to stop by the Chabad Center between 4:30 and 7 p.m. on Sunday to enjoy Kosher falafel. 4. On Sunday, the new Cheeseboy in the Natick Mall food court will donate 100 percent of earnings to the Association …

5 Things You Should Know This Weekend

Occupy Natick meets Saturday, which is also the last day for the Natick Farmers Market.

1. Occupy Natick protesters plan to meet for the second time Saturday. The group will hold signs on Natick Common from 11 a.m. to noon. 2. Saturday is the last day for the Natick Farmers Market, which will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Common. 3. For adults, there's plenty going on at TCAN this weekend: On Friday, the California Guitar Trio and Montreal Guitar Trio will perform a variety of music for adults. On Saturday, Farren-Butcher Inc. will perform at 8 p.m. On Sunday, classical pianist Charlie Albright will perform at 3 p.m. 4.
