LETTER: How to Help Victims of Natick Fire

A recent fire has left one Natick family living in a local motel. Here is how you can help.

Hello Friends and Neighbors, Between the devastation left by Superstorm Sandy, the intensity of the coverage pertaining to the national, state and local elections and other pressing issues to many to count, you may or may not be aware of a very local situation of our own which took place last week in our neighborhood and is still unfolding as of today.  This situation involves a serious house fire at 3 Franklin Street in which one of our neighbors, Laura Kajkut, heard the cries for help coming from the upstairs apartment and bravely came to the aid of Gabriela Gonzalez (15 yrs old) while her mother (Mariam) and younger brother (Jonathan 11 yrs old) had stepped out for a short while.    You are welcome to review the internet links attached …

Redmen T-Shirts for Sale Today at Second Chances Thrift Store

Redmen t-shirts will be available during Natick's 4th of July festivities today.

Courtesy David Jacobson Natick Redmen Pride t-shirts will be available for sale on Wednesday July 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greyhound Friends "Second Chances" Curio & Thrift Shop, 6 West Central Street Natick (diagonally across from The American Legion), on the corner of West Central Street and Main Street. These T-Shirts are created by members of the Natick High School Class of 1985. $5.00 of every sales goes to the Stacey Keane Burns Childrens Education Fund. William Callahan Announces Run for Natick State Rep. Seat

Callahan officially retired from the military on June 30, 2012 and will now seek a seat in the State House.

Callahan proudly announces his intentions to run for the 5th Middlesex District State Representative seat.  Mr. Callahan a Republican, officially retired from the military on June 30, 2012.  Because Active Duty prevents an individual from publicly running for office until you are officially retired, Callahan will have to first mount a sticker campaign to secure the Republican nomination on September 6th.  There are no other Republican challengers. Callahan said, "After careful consideration and encouragement from family, friends and community leaders, I have decided to answer the call of duty to represent the residents of Natick, Millis and Sherborn and run for State Representative.  Now more than ever…
