Hampton Inn Gives Mittens to Boys and Girls Club
Employees and guests of the Hampton Inn donated mittens to the mitten tree, and the collection was presented to some of the children yesterday.
The following was submitted by Judith Kalfon, the General Manager of the Hampton Inn: You may remember that we collected children’s mittens on our mitten tree during the holidays. [Yesterday] we hosted 15 elementary school children from the Pearl Street Clubhouse at the Hampton Inn. The kids made personalized picture frames to take home complete with their own photo and were treated to a delicious afterschool snack served by the Hampton staffers. As a parting gift each child received a gift of new mittens or gloves donated by the employees or guests of the hotel during December.
