Tuesday, May 21 6:46 a.m.: An officer pulled a car over near the intersection of W. Central St. and Washington Ave. Mark J. Leshinski, 51, of 109 North Ave., Natick, was arrested on a default warrant out of Natick District Court. The original charges were unregistered/uninsured motor vehicle and a number plate violation.

Alternate vehicles will be used as Crown Victorias reach the end of their service life.
The Natick Police Department received the last Crown Victoria from MHQ, a regional upfitter of police and other municipal vehicles, this week, according to the department's Facebook Page. Ford stopped manufacturing the Crown Vic in 2011, so as each vehicle reaches the end of its service life it will be replaced with another type of car. MHQ personalized the trunk lid and added a decal to mark the event. "We have finally reached an end of an era in police vehicles," the Natick Police wrote on their Facebook Page.

Saturday, May 18 9:05 p.m.: Macy's called to report that they had detained three female shoplifters. Officers responded and took one person into custody. The other two suspects were juveniles and were released to their parents. Melanie Marie Burke, 18, of 1 Paula Rd., Milford, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 and conspiracy. Sunday, May 19 5:35 p.m.: An officer pulled over a car near the intersection of W. Central St. and Boden Ln. Kenny Anglemyer went missing around 9 p.m. last night in Natick near the Framingham border.
Kenny Anglemyer, 15, has been missing for more than 24 hours after running off from the Brandon School & Residential Treatment Center, located at 27 Winter St., Natick. Anglemyer suffers from mental illness and requires medication, which he does not have with him. He was last seen running through the woods behind Brandon School. Anglemyer has been known to wander along Rt. 9. Anglemyer is about 5'10" and was last seen with a blond beard. If you see him, contact the Natick Police Department at 508-647-9500.
Detective Chad M. Howard was recognized last night before the Board of Selectmen as the Natick Police Department Officer of the Year.
Generally speaking, the officers in the Natick Police Department go about doing their job and protecting the people of Natick in a quiet way without ever receiving much credit. But last night, before the Board of Selectmen, one member of the Natick Police Department wasn't able to go unnoticed, as Detective Chad M. Howard was honored as the Natick Police Department Officer of the Year for the year 2013. Officers were dispatched to Nordstrom, where they arrested Julie Jeanty, 30, of 180 Beech St., Valley Stream, NY. Jeanty was charged with the following crimes:
