UPDATE: Police Search for Man in Natick Village Woods

Natick Police are currently searching for the male, said to be in his 40s.

UPDATE: Police have found the individual, Natick resident Robert Herring. Herring was arrested on April 13 for an alleged restraining order violation and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked license, on May 6 for allegedly violating an abuse protection order and on May 9 with a warrant out from Ashland for violation of a court order and one from Natick for malicious destruction to a motor vehicle, police said. ***** Natick Police are currently searching in the woods near Village Rock Lane in Natick Village for a man accused of a restraining order violation, according to scanner reports. Police Respond to Break-In at Minado

Natick Police were not able to locate the suspect.

Natick Police responded to an alarm at Minado Restaurant just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. When officers arrived on the scene at 1290 Worcester St. in Sherwood Plaza, they found that a back door had been forced open. No one was found and nothing was taken or disturbed, according to police. Massachusetts State Police assisted on the call, using a K9 unit to track the scent of the suspect to the industrial park adjacent to the restaurant, police said. The suspect was not located.
