Check Thief Caught by Natick Police
The following information was provided by the Natick Police Department. Charges do not indicate convictions.
Wednesday, Feb 6
5:38 p.m.: Police received a report of an assault on Hartford St. The subject drove away, but Hudson Police were able to arrest her later on. Lucelia J. Mendanha, 42, of 200 Manning St., Hudson was charged with 2 counts of assault & battery.
5:39 p.m.: Stop & Shop reported that stolen checks were cashed at the store. Arthur A. Nenko, 24, of 28 Crystal Way, Bellingham was arrested and charged with 3 counts of forgery of a check, larceny over $250, larceny under $250 (fraud), conspiracy and possession of a Class A drug.

10:05 p.m.: Police went to the Monticello Motel and arrested George J. Centeio, 24, of 14 Lincoln St. on two default warrants, one out of Natick District Court, the other out of Dedham District Court.
